Snowgoose
Thought to be a Harry Feltham
Snowgoose came to us as a wreck. The owner salvaged her from the bottom of Bembridge harbour and had her in a barn for about 20 years before bringing her to us. All the paint was removed from the inside and a number of timbers and planks were replaced. A new centre plate box was added, the stem and stern post were removed and epoxied into the boat and the whole inside was coated with epoxy. New bilge stringers were added to strengthen the bilge area and a new plywood deck with mahogany coamings and rubbing strakes. The outside was also coated with epoxy and topside painted with two pack paint. New seats, thwart, sole etc were added and the spars and rig sorted out. A smashing little day sailor was resurrected from the former wreck.
